2022 Tacoma Trail Edition 4×4
Not every vehicle can go from the showroom to the trails before the ink is even dry on the sales paperwork. The 2022 Toyota Tacoma Trail Edition 4×4 can. Not only will the new upgraded Trail model be equipped with four-wheel-drive, but it will also come from the factory with 1.1 inches of lift in the front and an additional half-inch of lift in the back. In addition to having more ground clearance, the 2022 Trail Edition 4×4 will also have increased approach, departure and breakover angles for even more improved off-road driving capability. Toyota released a Trail Edition last year and it featured a lockable storage compartment that could also be used as a cooler, this innovation has been carried over for the coming model year.
2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
While the TRD Pro isn’t necessarily a new trim grade for the Toyota Tacoma, the changes made to this particular version of the midsize pickup truck might as well make it a new addition to the lineup. Like its Trail Edition 4×4 sibling, the new 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro will arrive with a factory-installed lift kit, offering 1.5-inches of additional height in the front and a half-inch of lift in the rear. This iteration of the respected Toyota Tacoma will also have new forged aluminum TRD upper control arms and Fox internal bypass shocks. Both of these new features will help improve off-road performance.
